Message	Either way, I would not condone blatant copying of a product. I believe an individual should still go through rigorous testing in any product and it should never be a carbon copy. If a product can be purchased from another company, that should be the desired route. Of course, that also gets into the realm of licensing regarding selling a product of another versus selling it as your own rebadged product. Either way, I am okay with one taking an idea and recreating it from the ground up (no carbon copies) when it is not feasible to get the part in the US.
